1. Satellite Dish. 2. Satellite System
![]()
This is the satellite dish I use on my Motorhome. This dish is referred to as 60Cm Dish with Universal LNB. It used to be part of my Analogue antenna system but now I have added a Universal LNB which allows Digital signals to be received.
The Universal LNB is required for the DIGITAL transmissions from SKY Digital.
The stand I constructed from parts obtained at the Motorhome shows. The legs and tube are part of a free standing table, cost £10. The brackets came with the dish and cost nothing as the person giving it to me was upgrading.
The Dish is stripped down for travelling and is stored on the bicycle rack at the back of the Motorhome. When the bikes are placed on the rack the dish is hardly seen. The legs collapse to tube diameter for packing away, again this item is packed on the bike rack. The dish antenna cable must be the type recommended for Satellite reception. The type used for normal TV in the UK is most unsuitable and will cause a lack of signal or even no signal.
